I guess it’s natural… what I meant is that I was writing an email back to someone who’d used the phrase “a real fan”, and I geeked out for a second before thinking better of the bad joke.
Oh, who’s the “someone” of whom I’m a fan? Karla Rexer, a local singer-songwriter who I saw for the first time a couple of weeks ago during—but not at—the Home County Folk Festival, and who started a regular Sunday-night hosting/playing gig at the ‘Wick last weekend.
Is better?
