Welcome to Bob's Celebrity Body Parts Game - Week 4 Answers

Week 4 winner:

Imran Rizvi and Paul Chamberlain with a score of 8 correct out of 10.

Congratulations

I would just also like to mention that this week was the first time ever a non-Canadian played this game. Anders Lindberg is the first international participant of Bob's Celebrity Body Parts Game, submitting guesses from Sweden. Way to go, Anders!

WEEK 4

(July 10, 1995)

I think this is by far the easiest week ever. My guess right now is that we get an average of about 6, and I'm predicting at least one of you get a perfect 10 out of 10.

1) Jamie Lee Curtis

2) Albert Einstein

3) Dr. Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter (from Silence of the Lambs - played by Sir Anthony Hopkins)

4) Gabriela Sabatini

5) The Cast of Sliders

(John Rhys-Davies as Prof. Maximillian Arturo, Jerry O'Connell as Quinn Mallory, Cleavon Derricks as "The Crying Man" Rembrandt Brown, and Sabrina Lloyd as Wade Wells)

6) Hugh Grant

7) Tom Petty

8) Mary Tyler Moore

9) Marilyn Monroe

10) Papa Smurf

Only one of the Tie-Breakers was guessed correctly. That would be the first one. I won't give you the answers for the other two; instead, they will be included in Week 5.

1) Popeye and Olive Oyl

Comments:

1) Jamie Lee Curtis, Albert Einstein, and Hannibal Lecter were gifts.
2) Many people guessed Steffi Graf instead of Sabatini. I guess Gaby isn't as popular as I thought. Sexier, though, nonetheless.
3) Nobody guessed number 5 correctly. IMHO, Sliders is one of the best sci-fi shows going. Kind of like Quantum Leap, but unique enough to be good. And I also think that Sabrina Lloyd is one of the most attractive women on TV
4) Hugh Grant. What can I say? Did you see the woman he was with? And he almost lost Liz Hurley for that? What the hell was he thinking?
5) Not a lot of you guessed Tom Petty. Shame on you! If you look at the rest of my homepage, you will notice he's got a prominent spot, as he is one of my favourite singers.
6) Nobody guessed Mary Tyler Moore. Doesn't anybody watch old TV anymore? I think her old show is on in syndication.
7) Marilyn should've been easier than the guesses would indicate. Very few of you guessed her, instead opting for Madonna, or Tiffani Amber Thiessen
8) If you didn't guess Papa Smurf, then I can't imagine why. I dare you to find me another blue-faced cartoon character with a white beard. And even if you do, he can't be as Smurfy as good ol' Papa!
9) Almost all of you guessed Olive Oyl, but many picked Brutus/Bluto as her companion. Personally, I would never have thought of separating Olive from her true love, Popeye. But then, I'm an incurable romantic...
10) Since nobody guessed the next two tie-breakers, I'm forced to put them up again this week. These are real challenges, eh?
