Zamal Ruffudeen, with a score of 5 correct guesses out of 10.
Congratulations
I'm not going to say how easy or hard the game is anymore, since I'm usually wrong (judging by the average scores for the week). So, my message for this week is simply "Good Luck."
1) Alicia Silverstone
2) Calvin (from the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes)
3) Jean-Claude Van Damme
4) Demi Moore
5) Sylvester Stallone (I would have also accepted "Judge Dredd")
6) Mr. Clean
7) Rodney Dangerfield
8) Paula Abdul
9) Mick Jagger
10) Harrison Ford (I would have also accepted "Indiana Jones")
Neither one of the Tie-Breakers was guessed correctly. So, like before, I won't give you the answers for them; instead, they will be included in Week 6.
Comments:
1) Scores were lower than in the previous week, so I guess this week was
pretty difficult after all. The average score was 2, in case you're
interested.
2) Alicia Silverstone was not well-guessed. Keep an eye out for her in
the future. After her great work in The Crush, and now
Clueless, I think she's going to
have a great acting career ahead of her. You heard it here first. And
even if she doesn't, Aerosmith can still use her in videos.
2) Calvin is the kid, Hobbes is the tiger. Together, they are the best
cartoon going today.
3) I guess it was pretty sneaky of me to put up two action stars in the
same game. Most of you got either one of Stallone or Van Damme. Some of
you thought they were the same celebrity. I wouldn't pull a trick
question like that on you. Or would I?
4) Mmmmm... Demi Moore. Bruce, you're a lucky guy. Not many of you
guessed this one either. I suppose it is an old picture, because she
looks very young in this one.
5) Mr. Clean. Isn't that the best? If you got that one, boy, you must
watch too much TV.
6) Rodney. I don't think anybody got this one right. I guess he's
right, he gets no respect.
7) Paula and Mick. Two music superstars in the same game. That's for
all the people who said I didn't put enough musicians up. Of course,
that's assuming you consider Paula Abdul a musician...
8) Very few people guessed Harrison Ford. To me, the eyes were a dead
giveaway. It's probably because it's a black and white shot that people
were mistaken. I got a lot of guesses of old actors, like Humphrey
Bogart and Erroll Flynn.
9) Again, since nobody guessed the two tie-breakers, I'm forced to
put them up again this week. These are real challenges, eh?
