(tie) Rehan Zaidi and Derek McLachlin, who earned a score
of 24 out of a possible 33.
Congratulations. Great score!
This week, the point structure is a little different. More difficult questions will be weighted more heavily.
Good luck!

1) Thanks to all players this week. As I mentioned, I received the most
responses ever for the final (well, maybe not) week. I would like to
thank all new players (including Rehan Zaidi and Heidi Marr),
the foreign contingent (Anders Lindberg and Rickard Astrom,
both from Sweden, and Jamie Scott who submitted guesses from
Melbourne, Australia), as well as the several players (Philip Kim,
Doug Bonnett, Imran Rizvi, Derek McLachlin, and Zamal
Ruffudeen), who have been playing from the start. As well,
thanks to the many players who only played occasionally. You all are the
reason the game existed, so I hope you enjoyed it. (geez, this is getting
mushy!)
2) Many people said that the 1-pointers and 2-pointers were reversed,
that I mixed up the difficulty level. I've never been able to
accurately predict how difficult or easy the game is, but eventually I'm
sure I'll get it right.
3) None of the 1-pointers were stumpers. The hardest one was probably
the first picture. Several people thought Steven Tyler was Mick Jagger.
If you got Steven, you probably guessed Liv as well. Best guess: Keith
Richards and Mick Jagger.
4)Brad Pitt. I don't know why all the women are crazy about him.
Frankly, I just don't see it. I don't know, to me he kind of looks like
Kato Kaelin.
5) Most of you guessed Tiffani-Amber Thiessen. If you knew her only as
Valerie from Beverly Hills 90210, it was doubtful you would have
guessed Lark Voorhies.
6) Max Headroom. Wasn't that the greatest show? We still get it in
Canada, on the Showcase network. Watch it!
7) Sorry about the poor quality of the Ronald Reagan picture. I was
trying to find new pictures, so I got a whole bunch out of old newspapers
and magazines and scanned them on the University's free public scanner.
They didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. But, after spending an hour
on the scanner, I figured I better use at least one of them.
8) I'm kind of surprised some of you got Keanu Reeves. I don't think
this picture looks like him.
My guess would have been Christian Slater, or a young Jack Nicholson
(just because of the shape of the eyebrows).
9) Best guess for Roxette: Susan Powter, that bald exercise lady, and
some guy from her infomercial audience. I was told by the Swedish
players that this was a pretty easy one. But not a lot of others guessed
it. (grin)
10) Alex Trebek and Natasha Henstridge were the tie-breakers from
previous weeks that no-one could guess. In fact, only Alex Trebek was
guessed this week. If you haven't seen Species yet, you should
try to see it in the theatres. It's not that bad, IMHO.
11) Isn't that the best picture ever of Queen Elizabeth? I think it's
hilarious! Again, this was one I scanned from a magazine.
12) Hope to do this again sometime. It's been fun.
