(Or local arts of any sort, for that matter.)<\/p>\n\n<p>The show, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatreinlondon.ca\/site\/editorials\/Boneyard.htm\">described<\/a> by creator\/writer\/star Jayson McDonald as <q>radio noir on stage<\/q>, is an homage to and parody of the 1940s radio serial <q><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shadowradio.org\/\">The Shadow<\/a><\/q>.  The five cast members (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelondoner.ca\/cols\/culbert.htm\">Jeff Culbert<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dufflebag.com\/about\/meet.htm#rachel\">Rachel Holden-Jones<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gazette.uwo.ca\/2000\/October\/19\/Arts_and_Entertainment1.htm\">Jayson McDonald<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwo.ca\/english\/shakespeare\/2001\/company\/castpages\/virginiapratten.htm\">Virginia Pratten<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gazette.uwo.ca\/2002\/November\/1\/arts_and_entertainment2.htm\">Jeff Werkmeister<\/a>) perform a multiplicity of roles per <a href=\"http:\/\/www.virtuallyamerican.com\/detail.asp?genID=04&amp;comID=0001\">episode<\/a>, with locally-ubiquitous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicalsolutions.ca\/\">Dean Harrison<\/a> providing live music.<\/p>\n\n<p>I thus present Jayson McDonald&#8217;s announcement for <cite>The Boneyard Man Holiday Spectacular<\/cite>:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote style=\"border:1px dotted;margin:2em;padding:3px\"><p>Seasoned Greetings!<\/p>\n\n<p>Well, it&#8217;s that time once again&#8230;that special time of year when we look forward to gathering with friends and family to celebrate the very idea of life on Earth.<\/p>\n\n<p>Mom&#8217;s got the turkey loaf cooking in the oven&#8230;dad&#8217;s drilling holes in the side of the house for some unknown reason&#8230;Billy&#8217;s converted his bicycle into a &#8220;skicycle&#8221; and is about to test it out on Dead Man&#8217;s Hill&#8230;and The Natural Broadcasting Company is putting the final touches on its second bi-annual Boneyard Radio Hour Holiday Spectacular!<\/p>\n\n<p>Join us FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13 and SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 at 8PM in The MCMANUS STUDIO at The Grand Theatre for a fun-filled evening of fun and frivolity and murder and what not.
