She writes about <q>invented languages, in fantasy, science fiction, and elsewhere<\/q>: I&#8217;m curious to see how languages like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loglan.org\/\">Loglan<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esperanto.net\/\">Esperanto<\/a> stack up, and to try to apply her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcs.ed.ac.uk\/misc\/local\/TolkLang\/elfling-mirror\/015nn\/01589\">Law of Velar Villainy<\/a> to a pre-pub fantasy novel I&#8217;m reading.<\/p>\n\n<p>Also need to follow up on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarinareth.net\/caveatlector\/archive\/week_2002_12_08.html#e001145\">personality theories<\/a>, both online and with my two psych friends (she&#8217;s got her doctorate, he&#8217;s a few months away).<\/p><\/div><div class=\"syndication-links\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I don&#8217;t have anything to say about Dorothea Salo&#8217;s post about phonaesthetics, I just need to record it so I can read further.
