You see, I only have one and what I really need is two.<\/q><\/p><\/blockquote><p class=\"source\"><cite>Lenni Jabour<\/cite>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lennijabour.com\/lennijabour\/story.htm\"><cite>The Story of the Third Floor<\/cite><\/a> (December 2002 edition)<\/p>\r\n\r\n<blockquote><p>[Relationships are] totally irrational and crazy and absurd and, but, uh, I guess we keep going through it because, uh, most of us need the eggs.<\/p><\/blockquote><p class=\"source\"><cite>Woody Allen<\/cite>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.org\/Title?0075686\"><cite>Annie Hall<\/cite><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The appearance of Lenni&#8217;s <cite>egg<\/cite> story in December, shortly after I created my <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/categories\/eggs\/\"><cite>Eggs<\/cite><\/a> category (named as such after Allen&#8217;s quote), fits the definition of <cite>synchronicity<\/cite> exactly: <q cite=\"Oxford English Dictionary, 2nd ed.\">events which coincide in time and appear meaningfully related but have no discoverable causal connection<\/q>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>(Hey, it&#8217;s been almost two months since my <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/2002\/11\/30\/sweet_compulsion.html\">last Lenni entry<\/a> of any substance.
