Combined, are all of these perhaps a nod to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kottke.org\/03\/01\/030126undesign.html\">simpler web design<\/a>?<\/p>\n\n<p>Probably not.  But maybe.  After all, two points form a line; five points are a trend.  As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kottke.org\/03\/01\/030126undesign.html\">Kottke<\/a> says, <q cite=\"http:\/\/www.kottke.org\/03\/01\/030126undesign.html\">If someone else is doing something that works, why change it?<\/q><\/p>\n\n<p>And who am I to buck a trend?  Here&#8217;s a bunch of <a href=\"\/LenniFan\/discography\">round things<\/a> (in rectangular things), some writing about <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/categories\/sweet_compulsion\/\">other round things<\/a>, and Rosalita Whyte of <a href=\"\/LenniFan\/thirdfloor\">The Third Floor<\/a> demonstrating the correct use of even more <a href=\"http:\/\/peterjanes.homeip.net\/pix\/2002\/0915\/tn\/dscf0014.jpg.html\">round<\/a> <a href=\"\/LenniFan\/Images\/Gallery1\/lj5\">things<\/a>.
