Get with the program, people, and recognize how valuable an RSS feed is for your site!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"source\">Jenny Levine, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theshiftedlibrarian.com\/2003\/08\/04.html#a4343\"><cite>Exactly!<\/cite><\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Count me in as an <cite>RSS (and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intertwingly.net\/wiki\/pie\">other feed formats<\/a>) Bigot<\/cite>.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the same topic, and further to <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/2003\/08\/03\/news_flash.html\">yesterday&#8217;s post<\/a>, how many Flash websites&#8211;for musicians in particular&#8211;boast RSS or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ietf.org\/rfc\/rfc2445.txt\">iCalendar<\/a> feeds?  None that I&#8217;ve seen; they can&#8217;t even be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wcc.vccs.edu\/services\/rssify\/rssify.php\"><q>scraped<\/q><\/a>.  Conversely, many non-Flash websites <em>do<\/em> have them; see Emm Gryner&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/emmgryner.com\/journal.xml\">Journal<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/emmgryner.com\/news.xml\">Newsfront<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/emmgryner.com\/updates.xml\">Website Updates<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/emmgryner.com\/tour\/emmgryner.ics\">Tour Dates<\/a> for some good examples.<\/p>\n\n<p>Finally, and off-topic, I wanted to call this post <q>RSS B&#105;gotry<\/q> or something similar, but I&#8217;m not interested in the Google traffic the word <cite>b&#105;got<\/cite> in the title will generate.  <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/2003\/01\/03\/antikeywords.html\">Anti-keywords<\/a>, anyone?<\/p><\/div><div class=\"syndication-links\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Another RSS Bigot joins the fold.
