I&#8217;d actually done some of the setup for this as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/peterjanes.ca\/blog\/archives\/2003\/08\/16\/decruftified\">decruftification process<\/a>, but omitted the step of making <code>mt-comments.cgi<\/code> (and <code>mt-tb.cgi<\/code> and <code>mt-search.cgi<\/code>, for good measure) inaccessible.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"syndication-links\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I&#8217;ve had a bit of comment spam lately, so I updated the configuration of Movable Type again, per Jacques Distler&#8217;s suggestion.
