Is he worried about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linuxmark.org\/\">the trademark<\/a>?  He doesn&#8217;t seem to have a problem capitalizing <cite class=\"name\">Red Hat<\/cite>, <cite class=\"name\">IBM<\/cite>, <cite class=\"name\">GNU<\/cite>, <cite class=\"name\">SuSe<\/cite>, <cite class=\"name\">Microsoft<\/cite>, <cite class=\"name\">Sun<\/cite> (obviously) and even the name of the <cite class=\"name\">Linux World<\/cite> conference and SuSe&#8217;s <cite class=\"name\">Enterprise Linux<\/cite>, but for some reason he&#8217;s morbidly averse to using the appropriate form of the name of the kernel that&#8217;s one of the biggest competitors to <cite class=\"name\">Solaris<\/cite> (another correctly-capitalized name).<\/p>\n\n<p>From his writings on his weblog, I don&#8217;t think schwartz is a particularly petty individual, but I can&#8217;t determine any motivation for his continual apparently deliberate misuse of the name.<\/p>\n\n<p>I&#8217;m waiting for an explanation, jonathan.
