In roughly chronological order, some memories, notes and impressions:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Meeting a couple of regular guys, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jorn-bjorn.com\/\">Jorn-Bjorn Fuller-Gee<\/a> and Iain Ormsby-Knox, at the <cite class=\"title\">Peanut Butter Picnic<\/cite> and learning they were staging a performance of <cite class=\"title\">The Strange History of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde<\/cite>, before they became the stars of the festival.<\/li>\r\n<li>Starting the festival by seeing <cite class=\"title\">You Kiss By the Book<\/cite>, and subsequently praising it to a woman who then informed me that she was the director.<\/li>\r\n<li>Kathy Navackas, Alison Challis, <del datetime=\"2006-08-23T00:13:00-04:00\">the young woman originally from Winnipeg whose name I never did get<\/del> <ins datetime=\"2006-08-23T00:13:00-04:00\">Jacqui Vandale<\/ins>, Susan <ins datetime=\"2006-08-23T00:13:00-04:00\">Smith-Goddard<\/ins>, and the rest of the Fringe troupers.<\/li>\r\n<li><cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Lydia Zadel, the gifted and gorgeous star of <cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Andrew Zadel, the masterful playwright of <cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Rosalind and Genevi&egrave;ve; Lil; Leah and Marcey; Jen; Heather, Jonathan, Diana and John; Anne and Peter; Tarah, Jason, Stefania and Caralin; Joshua, Amber and Jeff; Fenulla and Dawn; Colette.<\/li>\r\n<li>Talking to Trevor Thompson, a nice guy from Ottawa whose first play is anything but disappointing.<\/li>\r\n<li><cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Being petrified by Tippi Seagram despite being in the very back row at The Arts Project.<\/li>\r\n<li><cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Aerial Angels&#8217; Naughty No-No Show, late and way over time but impressively done; and coming to the realization that the seven pieces of clothing I was wearing weren&#8217;t nearly enough.<\/li>\r\n<li>Quick-marching home and back between Saturday-evening shows to create and print my own promotional posters for <cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite>.<\/li>\r\n<li><cite class=\"title\">The Body<\/cite> with Amber.<\/li>\r\n<li>Andrew&#8217;s parody at the <cite class=\"title\">Fringe Fried<\/cite> party.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><\/div><div class=\"syndication-links\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Thirty-three ticketed performances later, my 2005 London Fringe Festival experience is over.
