A post on the Yahoo! Developer Network blog yesterday pointed me toward Leah Culver’s blog, where I noticed that she bears a passing resemblance to Kristen Bell. (I think it’s the hair and the attitude that gave that impression; they’re not twins, but could definitely be sisters.) So it was with interest today that I saw that Leah had responded to a commenter who’d made the same Leah/Kristen observation:
Umm, no. I only look like Kristin Bell (of Veronica Mars) through the blurriness of webcam (or drunkenness). Kristin has a movie called Fanboys out this summer in which her character hangs out with a bunch of Star Wars fanboys. I secretly hope that after the movie comes out someone asks her if she’s Leah Culver.
I have a sneaking suspicion the Leah [sic] people will be asking about after the movie is the Princess… but if I ever get the chance to meet Ms Bell I’ll ask about the girl geek. Of course, that also means that if I meet Ms Culver I’ll have to ask if she’s Leah McLaren. 🙂
