I just got these cool pictures in my e-mail of the tornado that hit Fergus… NOT!. After a bit of searching I discovered they were actually taken by Mike Hollingshead, a storm-chaser from Nebraska. Tell your friends!

Bravo on offering up the correction (unlike so many others who even go so far as to claim credit). I’ve been a fan of Mike’s work for a couple of years now and it’s painful to get the same mislabelled photos every time another major event strikes somewhere in the world
Actually, I searched for the photos online before posting and found Mike’s info; I was certain they weren’t from the local tornado and wanted to give him a short-lived burst of search-engine juice. So far this post has had 650 hits for the words fergus and tornado and it’s #3 in Google after a site that has real photos of the aftermath.
