Am I really the only one who’s noticed that MySpace’s RSS feeds have been gone (i.e. 404 Not Found
) for a week? There’s passing mention of something that might be the problem on their myspacehelp blog but no followup (which seems to be a pattern).
I bet the thousands of artists who rely on MySpace to communicate with their audiences are pretty pissed off right now, and if they’re not they should be.
Do you really quote “Spirit of the West” when you make all your titles? Or just the good songs?? Ah memory – that snippet evokes way better memories than the “hits when you were 18” site. Drunk, dancing like an idiot and screaming out the lyrics in a darkened pub, surrounded by people in a similar state. I was just happy that I knew all the words. Won’t lift up my head ’till the twelves bells at noon. Or something.
What do you mean “the good songs”? I like ’em all—really! The solo stuff that the band members have put out is good too, especially Mann’s Acoustic Kitty. (Also, tangentially, original ‘Wester J. Knutson was part of this year’s Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill.)
TAKE ME HOOOOOOOOME!!!!!
MySpace’s feeds have now been down for ten days. Fortunately I came across Scott Reynen’s tools which have filled in the gap nicely—there’s even a tool to generate a feed of events, which has always been something I’ve missed.
